As a Production Painter, you will play a key role in wet paint and powder coat operations involving metal components, fabricated assemblies, and production materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency in finish quality, and the ability to maintain production efficiency with minimal supervision.

Position Summary
The Production Painter is responsible for performing industrial painting operations on metal components and fabricated assemblies while maintaining production schedules and quality standards. This position requires the ability to apply wet paint and powder coat finishes consistently, prepare materials properly, and identify basic finish defects in a production environment.
The ideal candidate has experience with industrial painting processes, paint preparation, and production workflow while maintaining safe and organized work practices.
Responsibilities
- Apply wet paint and powder coat finishes to metal components and assemblies
- Prepare paint mixtures and production materials as required
- Maintain consistent paint quality and production efficiency
- Detect and correct basic finish defects and inconsistencies
- Identify visible paint defects such as runs, sags, or insufficient coverage
- Work efficiently within production timelines and schedules
- Perform basic cleaning of paint guns and paint booths at the end of each shift
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all paint procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Support overall paint department workflow and production needs
Painting & Production Skills
- Experience with industrial wet paint and/or powder coat applications required
- Ability to maintain consistent finish quality in a production environment
- Basic understanding of paint preparation and mixing procedures
- Ability to identify visual paint defects and surface inconsistencies
- Familiarity with paint guns, spray equipment, and paint booth operations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and production quality
- Good organizational and housekeeping skills
Tools & Equipment Used
- Industrial paint guns and spray equipment
- Wet paint and powder coat systems
- Paint preparation and mixing equipment

Qualifications
- Previous industrial painting experience required
- Experience with wet paint and/or powder coat systems required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Good attendance and reliability
- Strong work ethic and team mentality
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Compensation
- Starting pay: $22/hour
- Full-time position
- 40 hours guaranteed per week

Work Environment
This position works inside a manufacturing and industrial paint facility. Employees may be exposed to paint fumes, dust, heat, noise, and production equipment. Proper PPE must be worn at all times.
