Production Planner

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to manage and oversee production schedules, inventory levels, and purchasing demands based on orders and forecasts. The ideal candidate is a highly professional leader with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities of the Production Planner will include:

• Coordinate production workflows across multiple projects and processes.
• Plan and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
• Determine manpower, equipment, and raw material needs to meet production demands.
• Schedule shifts in alignment with production requirements.
• Monitor progress to ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Address and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Collect and analyze production data, including output and defect rates.
• Prepare and submit detailed status and performance reports.
• Maintain organized paperwork and production documentation.
• Collaborate with quality control, production, and other departments.
• Assist with ERP system development and optimization.

Qualifications of the Production Planner:

Required Skills-

• Communication: Strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain focus and accuracy over long periods.
• Coordination: Adapt actions in response to dynamic production needs.
• Problem-Solving: Use mathematics and logic to identify and resolve issues.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for planning and scheduling.

Preferred Experience & Education-

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or a related field.
• Associate's degree in industrial engineering or a similar discipline is a plus.

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $50,000 - $75,000.
