Summary of the RolePenmac Staffing is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Greenfield, MO. This position is responsible for monitoring product quality, performing basic calculations, and ensuring products meet established quality standards throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to accurately use a calculator.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and monitor products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator.
- Verify product measurements, weights, quantities, and other production information as needed.
- Accurately record inspection results, measurements, and calculations.
- Identify and report products or materials that do not meet quality requirements.
- Communicate quality concerns to production operators and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate and organized quality control records.
- Follow established quality assurance procedures and company safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with additional quality control and production-related duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to use a calculator accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Previous manufacturing or quality control experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks associated with inspecting and handling products.
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and able to maintain accuracy throughout the workday. Previous quality assurance experience is not required, but candidates should be confident in their basic math abilities and comfortable using a calculator.
