JSG is seeking a 2nd Shift (3pm - 12:30am) Production Supervisor for a 6 mos. temporary engagement. This is onsite for our well established manufacturing client in the Greater Valencia area.. Possibility of being converted to a full time employee after 6 mos - a lot of projects an work is available.
Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations across multiple production workstations, including clean room manufacturing environments, to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality products. This role is accountable for supervising production employees, optimizing workflow, meeting on-time delivery (OTD) commitments, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Supervisor partners closely with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to achieve operational objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Under minimal supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
- Establish daily production priorities and allocate labor resources to meet customer demand, production schedules, and operational objectives.
- Supervise and coordinate production activities across multiple workstations to ensure schedule adherence, maximize throughput, and minimize bottlenecks and downtime.
- Lead daily production meetings, shift handoffs, and communication of safety, quality, delivery, and performance objectives.
- •Monitor production performance, schedule attainment, and On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics, proactively addressing risks and implementing recovery plans as needed.
- Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve material shortages, production constraints, and operational challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing principles, Kaizen events, process optimization, standard work development, and waste reduction efforts.
- Analyze production metrics, labor utilization, downtime, scrap, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and implement corrective actions that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, clean room protocols, safety regulations, and documented manufacturing procedures, including support for CAPA and root cause investigations.
- Utilize ERP systems (Made2Manage) and reporting tools to maintain accurate production records, monitor operational performance, and support data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills- Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to manage and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized and complex situations.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as productivity, material margins, labor variances and overtime percentages.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite for tracking, reporting, and data management.
- Must have knowledge to apply complex use of databases/spreadsheets.
- Ability to complete the planning of workflow and meetings.
- Must have solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking. Able to use large amounts of data to make strategic decisions.
- Ability to apply continuous improvement and lean principles to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Experience with KPI tracking, performance metrics, and data analysis to support operational improvements. Preferred Skills
- Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing certification
- Blueprint Reading Certificate
- Previous experience in a clean room environment Education Requirements
- High School Degree or General Education Degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Associates (A.S) or Bachelors (B.S.) degree in supply chain, business, or related field highly desired.
- Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace or medical device industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience managing ERP systems (e.g., Made-2-Manage).
Pay rate: $36 - $41 /hr.
