Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity with a company in Spartanburg, SC. Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations and lead the production team to meet established schedules and performance goals.
Track employee competencies and provide coaching, training, and development to support individual and team success.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the manufacturing process.
Champion product quality, workmanship, and production methods to meet internal and external customer requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for production operations.
Monitor production performance to ensure products are completed on time and meet established quality standards.
Ensure compliance with production procedures and achieve or exceed first-pass quality goals.
Allocate labor, materials, equipment, and other resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Estimate production costs and establish and maintain quality standards.
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and applicable health and safety guidelines.
Promote clear, professional communication throughout all levels of the organization.
Evaluate employee performance, address personnel concerns, and foster a positive, accountable work environment.
Identify opportunities to improve production processes, resource utilization, and overall operational effectiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles, standards, and continuous improvement practices.
Strong leadership, team development, and employee management skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage competing priorities.
Strong mathematical skills, including calculations involving whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and measurements.
Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
Ability to manage challenging employee situations professionally and respectfully while maintaining accountability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience (DOE)Shift: 3rd Shift
