    Job Description

    The Production Supervisor is responsible for Supervision and coordination of production team members.

    12 Hour Night Shift 7:00pm - 7:00am

    In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To:

    • Assure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Plans work for the shift operation and assigns work to production related operators.
    • Assists in the selection and hiring process for new employees
    • Train new employees
    • Monitor quality, productivity, and scrap.
    • Manage machine down time
    • Administers company policies.
    • · Responsible for accurate accounting of employees worked hours for payroll purposes.
    • · Must be able to provide good leadership and set an example regarding safety, quality, and efficiency.
    • Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications
    • Interprets company policies for workers, enforces safety regulations
    • ·Analyzes and resolves work problems, settles disputes, and assists workers in solving work problems.
    • · Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
    • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
    • Provides direct and honest communication with employees
    • · Maintains floor cleanliness standard

    Requirements

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to write reports, procedures, and present to diverse audiences.
    • Able to interpret technical materials, regulations, and business publications.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Able to interpret written, verbal, and visual instructions and adapt to non-standard situations.
    • Solid understanding of statistics, geometry, and applied math (fractions, ratios, percentages).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC use.
    • Forklift certification required.
    • Strong multitasking and conflict resolution abilities.

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma, GED, or Associate's degree.
    • 3-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move between departments regularly.
    • Fine motor skills, visual focus, hearing, and driving ability required.
    • Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
