We are seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure a safe and efficient work environment, and support a high-performing production team in Boyceville Wisconsin USA. This role is responsible for overseeing production activities, employee supervision, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this exciting role you will:

Manufacturing Operations

  • Oversee daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and coordinate repairs with Maintenance.
  • Monitor production performance and ensure adherence to operating procedures.
  • Verify raw material usage, production yields, and packaging consumption.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs and Food Safety requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and audits and address compliance concerns.

Employee Leadership

  • Schedule employees and ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Coach employees and promote a positive team environment.
  • Enforce company policies and address performance concerns as needed.

Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and consumables.
  • Monitor material usage and order supplies as needed.

Safety

  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections and address potential hazards.
  • Support safety training, audits, and incident reporting.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor performance and support corrective actions.
  • Help manage labor costs, overtime, and operational improvements.

You should have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Frequently work in warm production environments.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; rarely lift up to 110 lbs.
  • Ability to enter confined spaces when necessary.
