Production Supervisor

Pay Range: $35/hr - $35.75/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production plan is met and analyze issues with other roles to drive continuous improvement activities.
• Lead the team to improve safety and enforce the use of mandated safety tools and procedures.
• Utilize the C-Matrix to coordinate SIS activities and enhance area performance.
• Analyze quality KPIs, prioritize quality issues, and guide team leaders effectively.
• Manage team allocation, absenteeism, and training to build strong teams.
• Mobilize support groups and resources to assist in problem-solving activities.
• Actively participate in and lead kaizen projects focused on safety, cost, quality, and throughput improvements.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Excellent organization, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with various levels of employees.
• Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to lead teams.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in supervision in a high-volume environment.
• Previous experience working in a union environment.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
