Job Details
Responsibilities
- Own daily production schedules, staffing, equipment readiness, and workflow.
- Coach production employees and hold teams accountable for safety, quality, and output.
- Monitor labor productivity, yields, waste, and downtime; resolve production bottlenecks.
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and GMP requirements.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams on operational issues and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and support cost control.
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in food manufacturing or processing.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Experience managing production KPIs, staffing, and employee performance.
- USDA-regulated or SQF-certified facility experience preferred.
- Comfortable working on the production floor, including refrigerated areas, with overtime as needed.
