Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the manufacturing of products and parts in compliance with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee a workforce of employees in the manufacturing department.
- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
- Investigate and analyze current manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency for the use of material, machinery, and employees.
- Lead the continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
- Plan, implement annual budgets.
Job Skills - Experience in leading manufacturing organizations.
- Knowledge in manufacturing processes (fabrication, welding, painting, assembly)
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing methodology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills addressing different levels (shop floor up to Executive Management)
- Ability to learn and keep up with product knowledge.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
- Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel.
- Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees.
Qualifications - 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, preferably large product assembly
- 4+ years' experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
