Description
Responsible for leading production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized automotive manufacturing environment. Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets are met while managing manpower, training employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives (WCM/SIS/Lean). Coordinate daily production activities, monitor KPIs, resolve production issues, and maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Automotive manufacturing experience (required)
High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred)
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Union and Lean/WCM experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Must be able to work 1st & 2nd shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED · Ability to work ANY shift and overtime as required
· Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
·
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various
levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly
represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
· Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
· Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Must have worked in an Automotive environment previously
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
· 2 or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environment
· Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members
· Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
Proficiency Using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
