As part of this growth, we are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team.
Job Overview: As the Production Supervisor you will serve as the supervisor on the production floor during your shift. You will work directly with and carry out daily production responsibilities. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for advancement and overtime availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and see through the completion of production plans as directed by the Production Manager
Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility
Coordinate and delegate tasks to floor leads and employees, establishing goals and directing production activities
Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
Ensure that workers and equipment meet performance and safety requirements, and schedule maintenance as needed
Develop and implement workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
Offer support on the production floor for questions, concerns, or feedback
Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
Provide training to new production floor employees
Assist with moving or lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2+ years of leadership experience
2+ years of operations experience
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision
Outcome-oriented with a strong performance-based culture
Strong team player who is cooperative and collaborative
