Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support professional for a Contract job with a client in Malabar, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting production operations, material movement, inventory coordination, and manufacturing processes within a fast-paced production environment.

Rate Range: $22/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Production Support Job Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure work is processed efficiently in accordance with production schedules, operational priorities, and manufacturing standards.

• Support material movement activities throughout the facility by ensuring raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods are delivered accurately and on time to production areas.

• Monitor material availability, inventory locations, and staging requirements to prevent shortages, production interruptions, and schedule delays.

• Collaborate with Operations Management and production teams to maintain workflow efficiency, support quality objectives, and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain inventory accuracy by supporting receiving, storage, transfers, and material tracking activities while ensuring compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four years of relevant manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations experience, or an Associate Degree with zero to two years of related experience.

• Demonstrated experience supporting production operations, material handling, inventory management, manufacturing workflows, or supply chain activities within an industrial environment.

• Strong understanding of material movement processes, inventory control practices, production support activities, and operational efficiency requirements.

• Ability to identify production issues, inventory discrepancies, and workflow challenges while supporting timely resolutions and escalation when necessary.

• Experience utilizing computer systems, inventory tracking tools, production reporting systems, or manufacturing software applications to support daily operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in aerospace, defense, electronics, manufacturing, industrial, or technology-based production environments.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, lean manufacturing concepts, and production efficiency initiatives.

• Experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory transactions, material staging, shipping, receiving, or work-in-process management activities.

• Ability to support team development initiatives and act as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and production-related issues.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
