Production Support Technician

ComSonics in Weyers Cave is seeking a Production Support Technician to assist with electronics manufacturing processes, equipment programming, and product quality. This position works closely with production and engineering to prepare products for manufacturing, maintain accurate documentation, and support process improvements from initial builds through production release.

Responsibilities

• Examine engineering drawings and related documents to identify missing or inaccurate information.

• Develop and update assembly procedures and manufacturing instructions.

• Assist with prototype assembly, process implementation, and employee training.

• Identify ways to reduce production costs, improve efficiency, and maintain product quality.

• Help coordinate and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

• Program and operate manufacturing equipment, including AOI, Pick and Place, Wave Solder, Reflow, Screen Printers, X-Ray, and BGA rework systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a related technical field is preferred.

• At least one year of experience in manufacturing, electronics, or an engineering-related environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $19.28 - $26.04

This salary range represents the compensation ComSonics reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting and has been established in good faith based on current market data, internal pay practices, and applicable laws. Final compensation will be determined within this range based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs. Offers are typically aligned within the lower to mid-range of the salary band, depending on experience and alignment with role requirements. Incentive Compensation:

• Positions not eligible for commission may be eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Bonus opportunities are based on role level and are subject to individual and company performance. Any bonus is not guaranteed and is governed by the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

• Positions eligible for commission participate in a commission-based compensation plan. Commission earnings are based on individual performance and applicable sales plans. Actual earnings may vary and are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable commission plan.
