Production Team Lead (2nd Shift) Position Overview
The Panther Group is seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead to support manufacturing operations in Nashua, NH. This role combines team leadership with hands-on laser operation in a specialized medical manufacturing environment.

The Production Team Lead will assist the Production Supervisor with daily production activities, coordinate workflow, support employee training, and help ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate a team while remaining actively involved in production.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Coordinate daily production activities and assign tasks based on employee capabilities and production priorities.
  
• 
  Perform hands-on laser operating duties while supporting the production team.
  
• 
  Assist the Production Supervisor with workflow coordination and achievement of production goals.
  
• 
  Train and demonstrate job procedures to employees, monitoring work for compliance with established processes and safety requirements.
  
• 
  Perform quality control checks and help ensure products meet required quality standards.
  
• 
  Monitor production progress and communicate issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  
• 
  Encourage team members to meet productivity, quality, and throughput goals.
  
• 
  Communicate production objectives, expectations, and results to team members.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate production documentation, including production sheets, reports, and customer-related paperwork.
  
• 
  Verify production counts and ensure daily production data is entered accurately and submitted on time.
  
• 
  Ensure the team has the materials and supplies needed to complete production tasks.
  
• 
  Assist with moving products through the work area and preparing finished goods for shipment.
  
• 
  Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and share relevant information with team members.
  
• 
  Keep the Production Supervisor informed of production issues, delays, and other concerns that could affect customer delivery commitments.
  
• 
  Provide feedback on employee performance related to quality and productivity.
  
• 
  Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  At least 3 years of production or manufacturing experience.
  
• 
  High school diploma or GED.
  
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• 
  Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
  
• 
  Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  
• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively with a team and help coordinate daily production activities.
  
• 
  Commitment to following established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Previous team lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

  Experience operating laser equipment.

  Inventory management experience.

Pay $20-$22 per hour DOE
