Production Team Lead - 2nd shift

Position Overview
The Production Team Lead will oversee daily manufacturing operations, coordinate team assignments, and ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. This individual should be a hands-on leader who can support production activities, train employees, and drive overall team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, assign tasks, and ensure manufacturing schedules are met.
• Provide hands-on support with assembly and production when needed.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and productivity.
• Monitor production quality, identify issues, and implement improvements.
• Promote cross-training to build a versatile and efficient manufacturing team.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and other departments to improve processes.
• Lead 5S initiatives and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Support inventory accuracy, material usage, and production scheduling.
• Assist supervisors with employee performance evaluations and accountability.

• Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a technology or assembly environment.
• Prior team lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on manufacturing knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Experience training, coaching, and motivating production employees.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing quality standards, safety procedures, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt quickly and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
