Production Team Member

THIRD SHIFT

• 3rd Shift 10:30 pm 6:45 am

The Production Team Member is responsible for working on a production floor assembling parts by hand, using tools or machines. Essential Functions - To perform within this position successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each of the following duties satisfactorily:

• Maintain a high level of quality for the products produced
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances
• Effectively use hand tools and/or air tools
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Pack and store materials and products
• Visually inspect the quality of in-coming production line materials, eliminate defects
• Meet daily production goals through teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform all assembly-related tasks and assignments in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure equipment and workstations are cleaned daily
• Support and communicate with Team Leaders on a daily basis
• Maintain housekeeping and 3R5S environment
• Follow guidelines and other policies established by department (according to client handbook)
• Read and/or enter data through computer
• Promote a team atmosphere
• Assist with creation and completion of improvement and/or cost reduction ideas
• Complete check sheets, reports, forms, etc as assigned with accuracy
• Comply with all safety rules and guidance, as well as report all recognized hazards
• All other duties as assigned
