You will work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 production environment
Start up and shut down plant equipment and processes safely and efficiently
Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment and process operating parameters to maintain optimal performance
Perform valve line-ups accurately and in accordance with operating procedures
Further, you will prepare equipment for maintenance activities, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Issue and manage permits to ensure maintenance work is completed safely and compliantly
Exercise sound judgment to operate the facility safely, reliably, and efficiently at all times
Develop and update operating procedures as needed
Train and mentor new employees on plant operations, safety practices, and procedures
And you will communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders when required
Perform basic troubleshooting and identify operational issues
Recognize when escalation is necessary and engage appropriate specialists for advanced technical support
And you will maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
