We're currently seeking a
Temporary Production Technician to support our client's dynamic manufacturing operations just outside Albany, NY. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, a focus on quality, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving production needs.
Responsibilities of the
Production Technician will include:
* Assemble a wide range of components and sub-systems by hand.
* Follow detailed assembly instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and validation tasks.
* Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues during assembly.
* Maintain compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
* Keep your work area organized and safe.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
* Complete accurate and timely production documentation.
Requirements:
Qualifications of the Production Technician :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Comfortable using both manual and power tools.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable team player with clear and professional communication skills.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18-$19.75/hr, DOE.
