Production/Warehouse Worker

Express Employment of Brighton is looking for dependable Production Associates in Howell for a leader in corrosion management and protective packaging solutions serving industries including automotive, manufacturing, oil & gas, military, electronics, construction equipment, and export markets.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position offering a consistent first-shift schedule and opportunities to learn new skills in a stable production environment.

Pay: $20.00-22/hour

Schedules: Monday-Friday, Day shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM paying $20/hr & Afternoon shift

2pm - 10pm and will have a shift premium of $22/hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
• Verify production orders and process materials according to specifications
• Package finished products to meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with monthly inventory counts
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on equipment
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• - Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred- Forklift experience preferred (training/certification available for the right candidate)
  • Experience with handheld scanners, inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, or warehouse inventory processes strongly preferred
  • Ability to accurately identify, track, and manage materials throughout the production process
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the facility
• Regular use of a forklift, including climbing in and out of equipment
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs. with assistance when needed
