Production Worker

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for supporting multiple areas of the production process, including rubberized hair cushion production, foam dunnage manufacturing, metal fabrication, material handling, packaging, and quality inspection.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, can safely operate a forklift, and takes pride in producing quality products while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

What You Will Do

• Participate in all stages of the rubberized hair cushion production process.
• Assist with all stages of foam dunnage production.
• Fabricate metal parts and other products according to production requirements.
• Retrieve steel molds from inventory for production and return molds to their proper inventory locations when finished.
• Trim, weigh, label, bag, and package finished cushions.
• Operate a forklift to safely move raw materials, molds, finished products, and other materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Conduct peer-to-peer quality inspections of work in process to ensure products meet established quality standards.
• Meet or exceed production deadlines by effectively managing time and prioritizing assigned tasks.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities to improve organization, efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.
• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the production area.
• Thoroughly clean assigned work areas and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Work collaboratively with production team members, leads, and management.
• Complete additional duties and production assignments as directed by the Manager.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, fabrication, or assembly experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, production equipment, and manufacturing materials.
• Ability to perform repetitive production and material-handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a production team.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet production deadlines.
• Willingness to participate in 5S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions as well as established safety procedures.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on manufacturing position that requires employees to work across several areas of the production process. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active production environment, handling materials, operating equipment, performing quality checks, and assisting wherever needed to keep production running safely and efficiently.
