Production Worker Operator

JOBSUMMARYThis positionwill be ensuring product is being manufactured to meet the quality standards, overseeing their assignedarea,and reporting any issues to the lead orsupervisorimmediately. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply withSafety Policiesand Procedures 

• Regular attendance,timeliness,and scheduling flexibility

• Feed the production lines by picking up product and placing them onto a conveyor

• Perform daily safety checks on the Machine assigned to ensure safe and efficient operation. 

• Notify the Line Supervisor of any safety,quality,or maintenance problems 

• Move completed product onto a rack and perform visual inspection for defect before placing onto a pallet

• Ensure the right amount of product is going onto a pallet 

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor 

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,AND ABILITIES 

• Basic mathematical skills (i.e.,ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)

• Effective communicationskills

• Team player, reliable and strong work ethic

EDUCATIONAND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Able to read,comprehendand follow simple instructions,.

• 1 Year general labor experience in similar setting (experience with roll formers, punch presses, brake presses preferred)

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKENVIRONMENT

The employee shouldpossessthe ability to:

• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels thatmaybe uncomfortable

• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out 

• Prolong standing or in stationary position 

• Complete repetitive movements

• Bendand/or twist

• Lift/move/transport items up to50 pounds

• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

• Wear all required personal protective equipment(hearing,vision,and hardhat protection)
