Job Description
Nucor Rebar Fabrication Northwest is seeking Production Workers in Tacoma, WA to safely bend, cut, bundle, and load reinforcing steel bars according to customer specifications. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and able to strictly adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive Base Pay & Incentives: Entry-level base wage of $17.49 per hour, plus a weekly production bonus (6-month average of 90.76% of base wage) and profit-sharing opportunities (5-year average of 20.17%).

Job Responsibilities
Primary Job Duties
- Material Fabrication & Machine Operation: Safely operate power saws or shearing machines to cut steel rebar to required lengths, bending machines to shape rebar, and spray guns to apply epoxy touch-ups.
- Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Unload trailers, store materials in designated bins, and operate overhead cranes to move, assemble, and select items for fabrication or shipment.
- Order Assembly & Facility Upkeep: Assemble and load finished orders onto trailers for delivery while keeping shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Position Requirements
- General Qualifications: Must be age 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
