Position Overview

Lantex USA is seeking a dependable and hardworking Assembler to join its Newark, Delaware operation. This position will primarily be responsible for assembling custom blind and window covering units. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, has good attention to detail, can accurately read and use a tape measure, and can follow instructions while also working independently when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble blind and window covering units according to established instructions and specifications.
• Accurately read and use a tape measure to take measurements during the assembly process.
• Work with small parts and components requiring good hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Inspect completed work to ensure products are assembled correctly and meet quality standards.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Work independently once trained while maintaining consistent productivity and quality.
• Occasionally assist with general duties in the company's small warehouse, including organizing materials, moving products, preparing orders, and other warehouse-related tasks.
• Follow all company safety procedures and workplace policies.
• Assist with other production or warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure is required.
• Previous assembly, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and learn new processes.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist in different areas of the operation when needed.
