Contract - 2nd Shift, 5/40

2nd Shift Pay Rate: $23.21/Hr.

• Ability to run CMM programs and support inspection activities.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical data, and manuals.
• Ability to perform inspections and document results using required systems and processes.
• Ability to work with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams.

Position Summary: Quality Specialist

• Supports quality assurance activities and compliance with organizational standards.
• Helps maintain product and process excellence across the organization.
• Works closely with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities: Quality Specialist

• Run CMM programs supporting incoming inspection, in-process checks, FAIRs, IOS updates, and final inspections.
• Ensure materials and assemblies conform to drawing specifications, tolerances, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, data, and manuals to determine inspection and testing requirements.
• Verify conformity of production parts, development work, investigations, fixturing, and gaging using Keyance systems, Optical Comparators, and CMM equipment.
• Review paperwork and routers for completeness and accuracy.
• Review and validate new CMM programs for proper setup and conformance.
• Perform visual inspections using IOS books and PowerPoint source files.
• Complete electronic and paper documentation, including turnback forms, inspection data, test data, and SAP transactions.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and support problem-solving efforts with operations and stakeholders.
• Follow all EHS, Quality, and organizational rules, guidelines, and standards.
• Work overtime or extended shifts as needed to support business requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties.
