My client is seeking a products liability lawyer to join us at the mid-senior associate level in their Chicago and Cleveland offices. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and communication skills, and a dedicated interest and experience in products liability defense work, with medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturer clients, with both complex multi-district matters as well as “one-off” individual cases.
Former trial level clerkships are a plus. A scientific background is also a plus, as well as an entrepreneurial orientation. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing litigator, including experience in drafting pleadings; preparing and responding to discovery; taking and defending fact, party, and expert depositions; motion practice, and court appearances. Candidates must be able to thrive in a team-oriented environment and possess exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
