Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), Wisconsin Licensed

A respected surveying and civil engineering firm in the Madison area is looking for an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey work and sign and seal its projects. You'll manage boundary, topographic, and construction surveys from field to final plat, and work directly with clients, engineers, and municipalities.

What you'll do

• Lead and certify boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
• Prepare and seal plats, certified survey maps, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
• Oversee field crews and CAD technicians, and review their work for accuracy and compliance.
• Research deeds, records, and prior surveys, and resolve boundary questions.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and county and municipal offices.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of land surveying experience.
• An active Professional Land Surveyor license in Wisconsin.
• Strong knowledge of Wisconsin survey standards and platting requirements.
• Experience leading crews and managing several projects at once.
