Professional Training Instructor

ORR Personnel is looking for a Professional Training Instructor to provide occupational guidance. In addition to teaching individuals the skills and knowledge that they need to be successful in the professional world, you will also perform skills assessments or tests to track their individual progress. Since you will be instrumental to the success of these individuals, we expect applicants for this role to have significant experience in vocational training. You also need to have strong teaching and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

·        Track student progress.

·        Perform skills assessments.

·        Help develop training materials.

·        Prepare and provide quality instruction.

·        Help clients choose a field or career to pursue.

·        Provide occupational training that suits their existing aptitudes.

·        Approach subject matter in a positive and enthusiastic manner.

·        Administers the classroom and its program of organization and management.

·        Receive learners’ questions comfortably and answers them clearly and completely.

·        Provide projects, papers, etc. that are relevant to the course and to student learning.

·        Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with students, peers, and community leaders.

·        Demonstrate knowledge of content area along with on-going personal study and research.

·        Present clear, complete, and accurate explanations so that students understand what is expected.

Qualifications:

·        Strong teaching skills

·        Verbal communication abilities

·        Bachelor’s degree in education (preferred)

·        Three Years’ Experience with vocational training or adult education
