Position Summary
The Program Director is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of an assigned training program within the Orlando Health School of Health Sciences. This role oversees all program operations—including marketing, recruitment, curriculum development, program delivery, and outcome reporting—for their designated program. The Program Director ensures the program maintains high quality standards, meets workforce needs, and delivers an exceptional experience for learners, instructors, and hiring departments.
Oversees the Cardiovascular Technologist Program.
Responsibilities include:
Student selection and admissions into the program
Teaching and instructional responsibilities
Partnering with leadership to identify and fill program gaps
Coordinating and supporting student clinical placements
Serving as both an educator and operational leader
Acting in a Clinical Coordinator–type capacity
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
• Leads the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of the assigned training program.
• Conducts needs assessments; maintains awareness of evolving workforce demands.
• Ensures alignment with organizational strategic priorities and clinical workforce goals.
• Develops and implements targeted marketing strategies.
• Manages recruitment efforts including outreach and community engagement.
• Oversees applicant screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
• Maintains applicant tracking and reporting.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances curriculum aligned with standards and requirements.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts, instructors, and educators.
• Evaluates instructional effectiveness and implements improvements.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for all program stakeholders.
• Builds and maintains partnerships supporting learner success.
• Coordinates with Talent Acquisition and operational leaders on placement pipelines.
• Tracks and monitors performance metrics.
• Prepares outcome reports and dashboards.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manages program materials, instructional resources, and logistics.
• Supports onboarding and development of instructors or faculty.
• Communicates timely updates to participants and stakeholders.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, stateand local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Education/Training.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited related program.
Licensure/Certification
Certifications pertinent to program requirements.
Experience
• Three (3) years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in education, program coordination, or workforce development.
• Experience with curriculum, program administration, or stakeholder engagement preferred.
