I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

Job Description Summary:

The temporary Program Assistant, Innovation & Entrepreneurship will support the Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship's daily operations. This role provides administrative coordination, calendar management, expense reporting, and event support to ensure the smooth execution of office programs and activities. The position will work closely with office leadership and staff to coordinate meetings, manage event and program logistics, and support operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit expense reports and assist with financial tracking and documentation
  • Manage the Executive Director's calendar, including scheduling meetings and coordinating internal and external appointments
  • Support event logistics, including preparation of materials, coordinating vendors, and managing event setup and breakdown
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination for meetings with mentors, students, and external partners
  • Maintain program records and materials such as syllabi, and support general administrative workflows
  • Provide general administrative and operational support as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 1.5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
