Program Clinician - Bridge/Jail Services

The New River Valley Community Services'' Jail Diversion Team is seeking a dedicated professional to join in treating and supporting criminal justice-involved adults. The Program Clinician would work part of a multidisciplinary team in providing services to incarcerated individuals and supports them in transitioning to the community setting. The role provides a wide range of services including short-term interventions and assessment, medication management supports, substance use treatment, and coordination of care post release. Salary Range:

License-Eligible: $52,500.00- $60,375.00

Licensed: $58,800.00- $67,620.00

Education Requirements:

• Master''s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible Human Services field is required.
• State of Virginia license is required in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
• If not fully licensed with the Virginia Board of Counseling, you are required to register and become licensed-eligible within three months of hire (if applicable).
• At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, is preferred.
• Experience working with substance use disorders and those with SMI preferred.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
