Position Title Program Coordiantor Position Summary
The position is responsible for providing direct support for the coordination of activities and management of the day-to-day operations for the Social Justice Fellows program externally funded projects/programs as assigned by the Social Justice Fellows Program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience in grants budget management and program management or coordination or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent interpersonal, record keeping, organizational, and customer service skills are required. This position requires demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, interact in a diverse community, and function in an active daily environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills required; demonstrated ability to prepare routine correspondence, proofread documents, and effectively represent the department to the Spelman community. The incumbent must be able to read and interpret documents such as policy guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and application forms.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database software. Incumbent should have experience operating within LAN systems and Web-based internet environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a college/university setting preferred. Past work in social policy advocacy

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit, walk, use hands to handle office supplies, operate computer and other office equipment, talk, and hear.
