Program Coordinator

PositionSummary The Program Coordinator coordinates community outreach initiatives that raise awareness of healthy living, connect service-area residents to essential preventive medical services, and facilitates seamless navigation through screenings and preventive care. Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Provides outreach activities to promote cancer prevention awareness and screenings. 2. Coordinates community events amp; connects people to needed resources. 3. Prepares amp; distributes educational materials that promote healthy lifestyle and positive health outcomes. 4. Assists with data collection for grant reporting and renewals making sure grant deliverables are met or exceeded. 5. Assists patients with navigating their healthcare and screenings. 6. Actively seeks strategies to reach residents experiencing barriers to access to care.. Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing or related degree. Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 2 Years Preferred: Experience with community outreach amp; health promotion. License, Registry or Certification: Required: Valid Drivers License Preferred: Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Computer skills including Google Suite and Excel Excellent communication and strong customer service skills are a must.
