As a Temporary Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall management of Foster Grandparent and/or Senior Companion volunteer and client assignments in central northwestern Minnesota.
Pay:
$21/hour + Mileage Reimbursement
Shifts:
29 hours a week
This is a temporary position for 6 months with potential of continued employment.
This is a hybrid position with 50% to 60% of your time spent out of the office meeting with volunteers, clients and a variety of community partners.
Responsibilities:
Publicizing the Foster Grandparent, Neighbor2Neighbors, and/or Senior Companion programs.
Recruiting, training and placing volunteers/clients with partner agencies.
Assuring compliance with program regulations.
Managing relationships with partner sites and multiple stakeholders in the community.
Directly managing clients and volunteer/client matches where no partner agency is available.

Job Requirements:
A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, access to reliable transportation, and a Motor Vehicle Check.
Excellent reasoning and analytical skills to understand and effectively interpret program policies, procedures and regulations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations/individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred a bachelor’s degree in the human services field or five years of equivalent experience.
Experience working with the older adult population and/or volunteers is desired.
