Kingdom Builders Transitional Housing Program (KBTHP) provides a co-ed,integrated, trauma-informed 24/7 residential transitional program for TAY (Transitional Age Youth, 18-25) providing meals, support services, resources, programming, and supervision in a safe, clean, drug-free environment. The KBTHP focuses on a compilation of services that addresses each individual participant’s needs with one specific goal; to assist residents with life skills and successful integration into the community.

Position Overview:              The Program Director provides leadership and oversight for the transitional housing program designed to support reisdents in achieving self-sufficiency. The Program Director is responsible for managing and mentoring a team of case managers, ensuring the accuracy and quality of case documentation through regular audits, and maintaining compliance with all contractual and funding requirements. This role emphasizes creating and coordinating external program activities, as well as establishing group programming tailored to resident needs, including life skills, job readiness, and behavioral health support. Additionally, the Program Director ensures that residents adhere to program rules and guidelines, fostering a structured and empowering environment that promotes accountability and growth. While the Operations Director manages the day-to-day facility operations, the Program Director’s focus remains on service delivery, program compliance, and resident outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program Management:
     
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies and procedures to meet organizational goals and resident needs.
  2.  
    • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of outside program activities and initiatives.
  3.  
  4. Staff Supervision and Development:
     
    • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to case managers and social workers.
  5.  
    • Audit case notes regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organizational standards.
  6.  
    • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one supervision sessions to address staff development, performance, and training needs.
  7.  
  8. Resident Support:
     
    • Develop and facilitate group programming based on resident needs, such as life skills workshops, job readiness training, and relapse prevention groups.
  9.  
    • Monitor and enforce resident compliance with program rules and guidelines, providing appropriate interventions when necessary.
  10.  
    • Foster an environment that encourages personal growth, accountability, and community engagement among residents.
  11.  
  12. Contract Compliance and Reporting:
     
    • Ensure compliance with all funding and contractual obligations, including documentation, reporting, and outcome tracking.
  13.  
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Executive Director and funders as required.
  14.  
    • Conduct internal audits to identify and address gaps in program delivery and compliance.
  15.  
  16. Community Engagement:
     
    • Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations to enhance service delivery and programming.
  17.  
    • Represent the organization at community meetings, conferences, and events to build awareness and support for the program.
  18.  
    • Advocate for the needs of formerly incarcerated individuals within the broader community.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within a nonprofit or human services setting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience working with formerly incarcerated individuals or similar populations.
  • Knowledge of case management practices, trauma-informed care, and reentry challenges.
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • Must pass background check (Live Scan Fingerprint - MANDATORY).
  • Must have TB clearance within 60 days prior to hire (MANDATORY).
  • First Aid and CPR certifications obtained within 30 days of employment and maintain current thereafter.
 
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position; evening and weekend hours may be required.
  • On-site presence required to effectively manage staff and support residents.
  • Some travel may be necessary to attend community meetings and events.
 
Salary and Benefits: Commensurate with experience
