Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA with strong functional leadership in eSPP and adjacent order fulfillment / service parts planning capabilities
- Strong domain experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Aftermarket, including:
- Service parts planning
- Spare parts replenishment
- Depot / repair-driven demand
- MRO and aftermarket fulfillment models
- Proven experience designing and leading end-to-end service parts planning processes across:
- Demand planning
- Inventory planning
- Supply planning
- Distribution and replenishment planning
- Expertise in integrating eSPP with SAP S/4HANA and surrounding supply chain platforms including:
- SD
- MM / IM
- PP
- EWM
- IBP / APO / planning ecosystems where applicable
- Strong understanding of A&D aftermarket challenges, including:
- Intermittent demand
- Critical spare availability
- High service-level expectations
- Serialized / traceable inventory
- Multi-echelon stocking strategies
- Experience in global supply chain transformation programs and service-logistics operating model design
- Ability to define planning strategies for:
- Slow-moving and critical spares
- Repair loop planning
- Rotables management
- Supersession / interchangeability scenarios
- Strong knowledge of KPI-driven fulfillment and planning outcomes such as:
- Fill rate
- OTIF
- Backorder reduction
- Inventory turns
- Working capital optimization
- Experience working with CxO and senior business stakeholders in large-scale SAP transformation engagements
- Excellent communication, governance, and cross-functional leadership skills
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the functional vision and transformation roadmap for SAP S/4HANA eSPP in an A&D Aftermarket environment
- Define and govern the target planning operating model for service parts and aftermarket supply chain
- Partner with client business leadership to improve service levels, op timize inventory, and enable resilient spare parts planning capabilities
Solution Design
- Direct functional solution design for service parts planning and replenishment across global distribution and aftermarket networks
- Design planning processes for:
o Critical spare forecasting
o Stocking policy optimization
o Multi-location replenishment
o Service-level based planning
o Repair-driven and intermittent demand scenarios
- Ensure integration across S/4HANA processes, warehousing, logistics, and planning layers
Program Delivery
- Lead large cross-functional teams across business, IT, and system integration streams
- Drive design governance, solution quality, fit-gap closure, and executive decision making
- Establish roadmap, milestones, issue resolution mechanisms, and delivery controls for successful implementation
- Ensure program predictability, timeline adherence, and value realization across the service parts transformation initiative
Business Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to supply chain, operations, aftermarket, and digital leadership teams
- Facilitate workshops, steering reviews, design forums, and executive governance meetings
- Translate business priorities into scalable SAP-enabled planning capabilities
Value Realization
- Drive measurable outcomes such as:
o Improved spare parts availability
o Reduced backorders
o Improved forecast and replenishment accuracy
o Lower excess / obsolete inventory
o Improved working capital efficiency
- Support KPI framework development and executive reporting for transformation value tracking
Transformation & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to modernize aftermarket planning capabilities with analytics, automation, and intelligent planning approaches
- Drive evolution from legacy planning practices toward digitally enabled service-parts planning and supply orchestration

Base Salary Range : $180,000 to $250,000 Per Annum
