Job Title: Scrum Master/Agile Coach
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach with over 15 years of experience to lead our Agile transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, with a proven track record of coaching teams to achieve high performance. This role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, practices, and values to enhance their understanding and implementation of Agile methodologies.
Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well defined and prioritized product backlog.
Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and performance.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and outcomes.
Support the organization in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams and departments.
Provide training and workshops on Agile methodologies to enhance team capabilities.
Measure and report on team performance metrics to stakeholders.
Act as a servant leader, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a variety of environments.
Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
Familiarity with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).
Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP Client), or equivalent.
Experience in coaching remote teams and managing virtual collaboration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
Proven track record of successfully leading Agile transformations in organizations.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
