Program Manager, Technical Education
We are seeking a bilingual Program Manager to oversee academic operations, support faculty, and improve student outcomes in a hands-on technical education environment. Responsibilities include instructional quality, curriculum coordination, student retention, lab readiness, and compliance.
The successful candidate will help maintain high instructional standards, support faculty development, strengthen student outcomes, and ensure that academic programs remain aligned with industry expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Leadership and Program Management
- Oversee day-to-day academic operations and support the implementation of campus academic goals.
- Monitor instructional quality, program performance, and student progress.
- Ensure academic programs follow applicable institutional policies and compliance requirements.
- Support curriculum implementation, program reviews, and accreditation readiness.
Faculty Leadership and Development
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching effectiveness.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and a positive learning environment.
Student Success and Industry Alignment
- Monitor student retention, attendance, academic progress, and learning outcomes.
- Partner with faculty and campus leadership to identify opportunities to improve student success.
- Support relationships with industry partners to keep technical training relevant to workforce needs.
- Help ensure students receive practical, career-focused instruction aligned with industry expectations.
Academic Operations and Continuous Improvement
- Support lab readiness, instructional resources, and academic scheduling.
- Review academic data and reports to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
- Work with campus and academic leadership to implement initiatives that strengthen program quality and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least five years of relevant industry experience, ideally in HVAC/air conditioning, engineering, or electrical fields.
- At least three years of teaching, training, or instructional experience.
- Previous supervisory, management, or academic leadership experience.
- Experience in technical education, vocational training, career colleges, or workforce development is preferred.
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
