POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager / Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee recruitment operations, strategic hiring initiatives, and recruitment process improvements within a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital recruitment, healthcare talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, and team leadership.

This individual will manage recruitment for assigned hospital projects, develop and implement hiring strategies, oversee recruitment workflows, and ensure staffing goals and deadlines are met.

The position will initially supervise one direct report, with the potential for team expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead full-cycle recruitment initiatives for assigned hospital departments and projects.

• Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet hospital staffing needs.

• Oversee job requisitions, postings, sourcing, interviews, and candidate coordination.

• Partner with hospital leadership, hiring managers, and HR teams to identify staffing priorities.

• Manage recruitment pipelines for clinical, nonclinical, administrative, and leadership positions.

• Track hiring progress, recruitment timelines, staffing risks, and potential delays.

• Develop and improve recruitment workflows, processes, and implementation strategies.

• Monitor recruitment metrics, time-to-fill, hiring outcomes, and overall performance.

• Supervise, mentor, and support recruitment staff.

• Identify recruitment challenges and implement solutions to improve hiring efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with hospital recruitment policies and applicable employment regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Hospital or healthcare recruitment experience strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in recruitment management, talent acquisition, or healthcare staffing leadership.

• Strong understanding of hospital hiring processes and clinical and nonclinical recruitment.

• Experience developing recruitment strategies and implementing recruitment processes.

• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects and high-volume requisitions.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment reporting, and hiring metrics.

• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with hospital executives, HR leadership, and department managers.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS

• Temporary Pay Rate: $85–$90/hour, depending on experience.

• Permanent Salary: $139,000–$170,000 annually.

• Employment Structure: Long-term temp-to-perm opportunity.

• Initial Reporting Structure: One direct report, with potential team growth.

• Work Location: Initially based at the Central Office in New York, with a planned transition to a Brooklyn location (address TBD)
