Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in program or project management.

• Experience leading commercial negotiations and managing supplier relationships.

• Experience managing global indirect categories, specifically professional services, warehousing (e.g., automation, real estate, etc.), or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)/Logistics.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

• Demonstrated experience building and implementing new category management processes and frameworks from the ground up.

• Deep expertise in developing multi-year category strategies, including supplier segmentation, market analysis, should-cost modeling, and supplier performance management.

• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and influence executive-level stakeholders in a dynamic organization.

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It"s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $231000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Develop and document a comprehensive multi-year category and sourcing strategy, utilizing structured methodologies and tools to align with Google Cloud's long-term goal.
• Lead the execution of all strategic sourcing initiatives for your category, including RFx and direct negotiation development, execution, and supplier selection.
• Translate long-range demand signals and business cases into actionable strategic plans that deliver competitive advantage, resilience, and value.
• Serve as the undisputed relationship owner for a portfolio of strategic suppliers, managing all commercial aspects and acting as the single point of contact to orchestrate a cohesive one voice approach.
• Lead complex, high-stakes negotiations to establish exceptional commercial constructs, moving beyond legacy pricing models to drive innovation, efficiency, and productivity gains.
