Your Role and Purpose:
The Program Manager, Key Accounts is responsible for the strategic oversight, execution, and continuous improvement of programs for major national accounts. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction by managing program-level initiatives, driving performance metrics, and fostering strong client relationships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Projects, Maintenance, Estimating, Accounting, and Sales-to deliver seamless execution and measurable results.
This role is accountable for project execution, financial performance, and customer outcomes across assigned programs. Associate Managers are accountable for team performance, development, and consistency, while Planning, Estimating, and Vendor Operations leadership are accountable for upstream readiness and vendor network performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Execution Leadership and Accountability
Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned key accounts and programs.
Develop and maintain standardized processes for program delivery, reporting, and performance benchmarking.
This role provides execution guidance and performance input but does not own formal people management responsibilities.
Own execution outcomes across assigned programs, including delivery timelines, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure program success.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and communicate them to the internal sales team.
Prepare and deliver clear documentation and reporting for clients and internal teams.
Operational Excellence
Forecast material, logistics, labor, and financial needs; ensure alignment across internal teams.
Own program-level financial performance, including margin management, forecasting, cost control, and billing accuracy.
Use data analytics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage vendor performance during project execution, including issue resolution and escalation, while partnering with Vendor Operations leadership on vendor selection, availability, and long-term performance management.
