Program Manager, Defense Electronics

Intrepidus Talent Solutions is recruiting a Program Manager for a defense technology client at its St. Louis-area site. The company designs and builds custom electronics for military and aerospace customers, including RF and communications systems and embedded computing. Engineering, manufacturing, and test work together on site to take products from concept through delivery.

The Role

You will own execution on a set of defense and aerospace contracts, keeping scope, schedule, cost, and quality on track from requirements through design, integration, test, and delivery. You will work daily with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality, and you will be a main point of contact for government and industry customers. Program managers here work directly with the technical team to solve problems.

What You Will Do

•     Run programs end to end against contract scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements

•     Lead internal teams and manage subcontractors and stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and procurement

•     Build and maintain working relationships with government and industry customers

•     Identify technical and programmatic risks early and drive mitigation

•     Present status updates, technical reviews, and financial reports to company leadership and customers

•     Contribute to proposal development

•     Keep programs compliant with FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR export controls, and the company's quality system

What You Bring

•     Bachelor's degree or higher

•     Minimum 1-3 years of program management experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting

•     A track record leading multidisciplinary teams and managing more than one program at a time

•     Strong communication and organization skills, and comfort working directly with customers

•     U.S. citizenship (required for government contract work)

Details

•     On-site in the St. Louis metro (St. Charles County, MO)

•     Base salary $90,000 - $115,000, based on experience

•     Offers are contingent on a background investigation, including criminal history and identity verification
