Reducing greenhouse gas pollution and advancing zero emission vehicles, energy efficiency and clean energy are essential to preserving and protecting Colorado's way of life. This role will work on marketing, outreach by vendors, technical assistance efforts and administrative support related to CEO's transportation electrification work.

Description of Job

Starting Salary Range: $70,012.80 - $90,001.60 Annually

  • This position is eligible for a hybrid remote working arrangement. Hybrid positions are expected to be present at the office location two full days per week, typically on the assigned team days, or as directed by their supervisor.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Electric Vehicle Marketing Program Lead

  • Lead the EV CO marketing program by selecting, onboarding, and managing CEOs new marketing vendor (anticipated start in early 2027).

  • Coordinate EV CO advisory and steering committees, facilitating regular meetings and collaboration.

  • Guide vendor in developing effective messaging and resources to encourage EV adoption across Colorado.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Colorados EV market and vehicle electrification initiatives to keep content engaging, accurate, and aligned with market trends.

  • Oversee targeted marketing and outreach for specific transportation initiatives, including priority community engagement, the Community Connectors project, and Superusers program.

  • Manage vendor contracts, procurement, deliverables, invoices, performance, and budget tracking.

  • Use program data and analytics in partnership with the Program Analyst to evaluate outcomes, monitor efficacy, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with Transportation team members and the Communications & Engagement team to align EV CO, ReCharge Colorado, and other outreach efforts.

  • Lead Colorado Electric Vehicle Coalition meetings and subgroups, establishing agendas and sustaining member engagement.

  • Respond to public inquiries regarding CEO programs and transportation electrification.

  • Technical Assistance Lead

  • Lead technical assistance and advisory initiatives to support Transportation Team program managers and participants.

  • Identify technical assistance needs alongside program managers and stakeholders, managing contracts for key services such as fleet advising and multi-family housing support.

  • Community Access Enterprise Board Support

  • Provide administrative support for the Board, including meeting logistics, agenda setting, speaker coordination, and facilitating public comment.

  • Ensure compliance with open meeting laws and oversee annual statutory reporting.

  • Maintain and update the Boards public-facing website.

  • Provide additional support or leadership on other programs and purchase orders as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years professional experience in program or project management.

  • Knowledge and experience with education, outreach and engagement

  • Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with electric and zero emission vehicles, charging/fueling infrastructure programming, and/or fleets strongly preferred.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage a significant number of ongoing grants at various stages.

  • High level of initiative and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Office and Google suite.
