    Job Description

    We are looking for a Program Manager to join the Worldwide Grocery Stores Strategy and Business Planning team. The Strategy and Business Planning team partners with Worldwide Grocery Stores leadership and teams across Amazon to support long-term growth of the grocery business. The team is responsible for the development of strategy, core planning functions (3YP/OP1/OP2/Goals), ongoing roadmap management, and various business operations responsibilities.

    Reporting to the head of Strategic Business Planning, the Program Manager will be responsible for supporting a small team that works cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business to (1) collect and analyze data for key growth initiatives, (2) optimize and support key mechanisms in our business operational processes (annual planning, business reviews, etc.), (3) help maintain programs and frameworks to measure our progress toward goals and initiatives, (4) manage goals across the organization, and (5) contribute to the development of recommendations for future growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated project management capabilities, strong analytics skills, and financial acumen.

    This position is based in Austin, TX.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Execute and optimize annual planning and business reporting processes; maintain documentation and support executive leadership reviews
    • Manage organizational goals: support goal-setting, track progress, coordinate updates, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
    • Assist in business review meetings by gathering data and inputs, and helping prepare narrative documents for leadership
    • Support the Strategic Business Planning team by collecting data and insights, maintaining tracking mechanisms, and contributing to analysis that informs enterprise strategy execution
    • Conduct analyses of business trends using established frameworks; gather relevant consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic data to support decision-making
    • Create clear project deliverables and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment
    • Build effective working relationships across the organization, including with senior and executive leadership
