    Job Description:

    The Manager, Program/Project III (MANP3) is responsible for leading and overseeing complex programs and projects within the U.S. Navy sector. This role involves managing engineering, financial, risk management, scheduling, and planning activities, ensuring tasks progress as planned. The MANP3 will provide technical oversight, monitor performance, and ensure milestones are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program/project management, specifically within U.S. Navy programs,

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage large-scale research and development, test and evaluation, new construction, and mid-life modernization programs.
    • Oversee all aspects of program/project management, including engineering, financial management, risk management, scheduling, and planning.
    • Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure project milestones are met and performance standards are maintained.
    • Monitor and report on task progress, addressing any issues or risks that arise.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and performance.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
    • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

    Required Skills and Experiences:

    Ten (10) years of experience as a Program Manager providing technical and logistics support for U.S. Navy HM&E, Navigation and/or combat systems and equipment. Ten (15) years of experience in Navy Modernization Program (NMP) processes, scheduling (Microsoft Project), planning, estimating, project control, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) management, subcontract management, and project progress tracking. A working knowledge of NAVSEA Headquarters, Surface fleet and Carrier fleet type commander organizations, functions and responsibilities is preferred.

    Degree Requirements:

    Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.

    A secret security clearance
