About this Position
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The School of Engineering & Construction Technologies Program Support Strategist strengthens and enhances the School, the success of its students, offerings and extramural linkages through strategic engagement in recruitment, retention, promotional, extramural and support-focused activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university. Candidates with alternate combinations of credentials and/or experience may be considered.
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Experience:
- Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with and serving diverse constituencies.
- Formal experience in public relations, sales, marketing and/or promotions.
- Work experience in higher education or similar environment highly preferred.
- Experience working with a range of audiences.
- Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Class A CDL driver’s license preferred.
- Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of current student recruitment and retention best practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with other internal and external constituents to ensure deliverables are met.
- Ability to develop and deliver promotional content, presentations and other materials for a variety of audiences and multiple venues using both electronic and print means.
