Are you passionate about leveraging technology to enhance business processes? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our IT team in St. Louis, MO. This role focuses on analyzing, supporting, and enhancing our core business processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. You'll work closely with IT Operations, Transit Operations, and corporate stakeholders to deliver system enhancements, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support for our Operations Systems applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business and technical requirements.
• Identify and resolve system and application issues, establishing system scope, objectives, and procedures.
• Recommend application and process improvements to strengthen business operations.
• Participate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and system enhancements.
• Create system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts for communication and project execution.
• Provide training and orientation to end users for new or updated systems.
• Research software and hardware solutions to support purchasing decisions and technology recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET ecosystem, C#, ASP.NET.
• Experience with Oracle relational databases and PL/SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferences

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with .NET Entity Framework and modern .NET versions.
• Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
• Experience with transit or workforce management systems such as Trapeze Software or GIRO HASTUS.
