Client is seeking an experienced Programmer / Analyst to review, analyze, and interpret user requirements and business specifications to develop effective technical solutions supporting City departments and business operations.

The selected consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining application systems and software solutions ranging from simple enhancements to large-scale enterprise implementations. The Programmer / Analyst will work closely with business users, Systems Analysts, Project Leaders, and development teams to ensure applications meet business requirements, quality standards, and performance expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong application development expertise, systems analysis capabilities, problem-solving skills, and experience supporting enterprise applications throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience
• 5+ years of Programmer / Analyst experience.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting business and technical requirements.
• Experience designing, coding, testing, and implementing software applications.
• Experience supporting enterprise application development projects.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing applications and systems.
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues.
• Experience developing technical documentation and system specifications.
• Experience working throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience supporting software upgrades, enhancements, and migrations.
• Experience collaborating with business users, developers, and technical teams.
• Experience with application performance tuning and optimization preferred.
