Job Title: Programmer – Consultant (12830)
Location: Blythewood, SC 29016 - Hybrid - onsite needs are at the manager's discretion per the project needs.
Contract Duration: 12 Months

Interview Process: Two virtual interview rounds
Candidate Location Requirement: The candidate must currently reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia and must be willing to relocate to South Carolina at their own expense before the start date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze interfaces between the Celtic Motor Carrier System and the Phoenix core business system.
  • Lead the investigation and troubleshooting of assigned application and interface issues.
  • Recommend effective technical solutions for system defects and operational problems.
  • Design, code, test, promote, and implement application and interface enhancements.
  • Coordinate with impacted users to verify that implemented solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide production support for Celtic–Phoenix system interfaces.
  • Work closely with I3 Verticals and internal business units to resolve application and integration issues.
  • Coordinate internal release cycles with vendor release schedules.
  • Maintain clear technical and process documentation.
  • Provide daily and weekly status reports to the Development Manager and Business Manager.
  • Work independently while communicating effectively with technical teams, business users, and external vendors.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET architecture and programming.
  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft web service architecture and programming.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and supporting business-to-business web service interfaces.
  • 5+ years of experience using Visual Studio 2019 or newer.
  • 8+ years of experience with .NET, C#.NET, and Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
  • 8+ years of experience developing applications against relational database management systems using SQL.
  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
  • 7+ years of professional experience supporting State Government projects.
  • Strong application troubleshooting, production support, testing, and release-management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate across technical, business, and vendor teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical business applications.
  • Experience collaborating with external software vendors.
  • Experience coordinating internal application releases with vendor release cycles.
  • Microsoft technical certifications.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline with at least eight years of relevant experience.
OR
  • A minimum of ten years of directly related professional experience.
