Project Accountant

As a Project Accountant, you will partner with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to manage project billings, collections, forecasting, contract administration, and cash flow planning. What You'll Do

• Prepare and submit invoices, pay estimates, lien waivers, payroll reports, insurance certificates, sworn statements, and other required contract documentation.
• 
  
• Manage billing packages and proactively follow up to ensure timely collections.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate cash collection forecasts and monitor contractual payment cycles.
• 
  
• Track project billings from submission through funding and collection.
• 
  
• Develop job-specific cash management plans and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Monitor contract values, change orders, and project financial performance.
• 
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
• 
  
• 2+ years of project accounting, project billing, accounts receivable, construction accounting, manufacturing accounting, or related experience.
• 
  
• Experience supporting project-based environments such as construction, engineering, HVAC, industrial, or manufacturing organizations is highly preferred.
• 
  
• Experience with project accounting systems; exposure to CMiC is a plus.
• 
  
• Adaptable, tech-savvy, and interested in process improvement initiatives.
• 
  
• Proven job stability and a desire to build a long-term career.

Compensation range is $65,000-$80,000 + discretionary bonus
